An essay, by its very nature is a piece of literature, usually but not always providing the writer’s arguments however, the interpretation is wide-ranging and overlapping with that of personal letters or essay or pamphlet, a report, and even a short story. Essays were always considered informal, but they are now increasingly seen as a kind of report, due to the rise of publishing online and communication. Nowadays, essays are often written for students at universities who have a thesis to present but don’t want to make it a research paper. There is very little difference between these essays. Essays are written with considerable attention to correct grammar spelling and usage, as well as coherence, style and tone.
